With 2025 winding down the club is closing its beginner intake for the year. New fencers can start fresh in February 2026, with the first beginner group sessions being held on:

Adults and Adolescents: Tuesday 3rd February

Under 10's: Saturday 7th February

Our beginner's program is designed to be very flexible. You can start at any time during terms 1, 2 and 3, and you have 6 months to complete the course. The course runs for 10 sessions and you will be grouped with other beginners at your level with a coach. If you miss a week here or there, you pick up where you left off, but you might have to change group. Of course, we recommend being as regular as possible for maximum benefit. 

Our club is friendly, inclusive, and open to everyone regardless of skill, ambition or age. All that is required is a keen interest in learning fencing, and a readiness to work hard and have fun.
